KEY STAFF
MATT SMITH
Company Director
After being with Laing Con for nine years, Matt relocated back to the Sunshine Coast in 2007 and began working for a local business. Within twelve months Matt had established his own company, Matt Smith Concreting, and began providing services to a number of local builders and shed companies. Since that time the business has expanded to become MSC Concrete Constructions which oversees, project-manages and constructs large-form concreting for a variety of commercial and residential clients.
Matt and his team pride themselves on their honesty, reliability and open communication. Matt understands that discussing clients’ needs in detail and providing honest opinions and realistic expectations results in optimal outcomes for all involved—it is this that Matt is determined to achieve for each and every client.
Matt is an avid rugby league supporter, having played in Sydney and on the Coast for twenty-seven years. He admits that during the last few of those years his game hasn’t quite been up to scratch but he just can’t say no to a game. Apart from league, Matt enjoys the odd game of touch football, Oztag and volleyball—anything competitive. Weekends see Matt up a mountain with his family, at a park, or cruising the Sunny Coast in the caravan.
